Simone Ortelli practises primarily in commercial law, with a focus on contract law, corporate law, tenancy law, and employment law with a large expertise in staff leasing regulations.
He combines careful legal analysis with a practical approach tailored to each client’s needs and the circumstances of each case. He helps his clients assess risks, weigh their options, and protect their interests, whether through a negotiated settlement or litigation.
Experience.
Simone Ortelli holds a bachelor’s degree in law, cum laude, and a master’s degree in law, magna cum laude, from the University of Neuchâtel. During his studies, he mainly focused on commercial law, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
He began his career as an in-house legal counsel at a staffing company, where he worked closely with management, oversaw legal compliance across the company’s operations and represented the company in labour law-related disputes.
He subsequently joined the University of Neuchâtel as a legal advisor to the Rector’s Office, handling administrative and disciplinary matters and drafting university regulations.
In September 2023, he joined Legal Insights Sàrl as a trainee lawyer.
He was admitted to the bar in October 2026 and continues to practise with the firm as a qualified lawyer.
He assists his clients in French, Italian and English.
